Zach McAllister is a professional baseball player, World Series pitcher, and Chillicothe native. Immediately following his 2006 high school graduation, Zach was drafted in the third round by the New York Yankees. He’ll enter into his 15th professional season in 2020. In 2010, Zach was traded to the Cleveland Indians and made his MLB debut in July 2011. During his career with the Indians, he pitched in the 2016 World Series and recorded his 500th major league strike out. In 2015, Zach founded the annual charity auction and youth camp to raise money for Advocates for Access, a local non-profit that is dear to his heart. Through his talents, Zach enjoys giving back to the community and investing in the youth in Central Illinois.
